Hamilton: I'll gradually build up speed in Baku.

      Lewis Hamilton drove confidently in Monza and finished sixth after starting tenth due to a penalty. The Ferrari driver hopes for a successful performance at the next round in Baku, but adds that he will gradually build up speed over the course of the weekend.

      Lewis Hamilton: "I think I'll have to start from scratch again, since I'll be competing on a circuit where for many years I drove cars with different characteristics.

      In Monza the car handled better, especially at low speeds. I think the situation will be about the same at the next race.

      However, I'll start the weekend in Baku on the back foot and will gradually pick up speed. I'll try to use all my experience for that. I have no doubt that I'll feel most comfortable behind the wheel on Sunday, on the last lap of the race."
