      Helmut Marko is optimistic about the results of Friday practice in Baku. The Red Bull motorsport adviser believes Max Verstappen will fight for a place in the top three on the grid and for victory in the race.

      Helmut Marko: "We have a promising pace over long runs, which allows us to fight for positions at the front. As for qualifying, we need to make up another tenth or one and a half tenths. That can be done by adjusting the setup.

      This weekend we can prove that the win in Monza was not a one-off. I'm confident we'll be in the top three in qualifying and fight for the race win. We have the speed, the car has a wide operating window, and it's quite easy to set up. The team has definitely taken a step forward.

      As I said, we have excellent long-run speed, but we still need to improve before qualifying. Max always wants more and will certainly find a way to go faster before qualifying, but his progress between the first and second practice was already significant."
