Aston Martin drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso posted seventeenth and nineteenth fastest times in the second practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. After the session both briefly commented on the day's results.
Lance Stroll (17th): "Today I managed to put in several good laps in both practice sessions and gather information that will help in tomorrow's qualifying and the race. Windy conditions are expected, but we'll see how that affects our performance in qualifying."
Fernando Alonso (19th): "It's always interesting to drive on the narrow, fast circuit in Baku. Judging by the lap times, we have work to do this weekend to raise our pace. We need to find a balance between downforce and straight-line speed — that's the area where we can gain. We'll see what we can do overnight."
