Ayo Komatsu: It was difficult to make a comeback.

In Baku, Haas F1 drivers failed to score points – they couldn't unlock the car's potential on the narrow street circuit…

Aio Komatsu, team principal: "Starting 15th and 20th in Baku makes it hard to recover – you get caught in a 'DRS train' and can't do anything about it.

I think we chose the right strategy for Esteban, but balance issues with the car prevented him from achieving more. With Oliver we didn't fully capitalize on the start and the restart behind the safety car, losing positions. Unfortunately, he then ended up in a 'DRS train', stuck behind slower cars.

We saw Bearman's potential in the second stint – he was very quick. It's unfortunate that one mistake can determine the result of an entire weekend, but that's the nature of Formula 1."

Oliver Bearman (12th): "I started 15th, but lost a few places on the restart and then got stuck behind other cars – after that there was only damage limitation. The car was quick, but there was nothing we could do about it."

Esteban Ocon (14th): "Today we took a risk with strategy, but it didn't pay off. The weekend was tough, there's a lot to improve before the next race, and that's what we'll focus on in preparation for Singapore."
