Conditions for McLaren to win the Constructors' Championship in Singapore.

In Baku, McLaren could have set a new record by winning the Constructors' Championship for the tenth time in their history with seven races to spare. However, due to Oscar Piastri's retirement and Lando Norris's seventh place, that did not happen.

Nevertheless, the likelihood that McLaren will mathematically secure the Constructors' Championship at the next round in Singapore is very high.

After the Azerbaijan Grand Prix McLaren have 623 points, and 346 points will be up for grabs in the remaining seven rounds, taking into account three sprints in Austin, São Paulo and Qatar. Thus, besides McLaren, two other teams — Mercedes and Ferrari — are formally still in contention for the title.

After the race in Baku, despite Max Verstappen's victory and Yuki Tsunoda's sixth place, Red Bull Racing lost their mathematical chances for the Constructors' Championship, as they trail McLaren by 351 points.

To clinch the Constructors' Championship in Singapore, McLaren must not lose to Mercedes or Ferrari by more than thirty points. In practice this means Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris need to score a total of 13 points, given that rivals going for a 1–2 can score 43 points.

Thus, in Singapore McLaren will be safe with a third place or even a lower result, provided both drivers finish — for example, sixth and seventh.
