There is a frenzied demand for tickets in Madrid.
The organizers of the Spanish Grand Prix, which will take place at the new MadRing circuit on 13 September 2026, report record demand for tickets. Limited sales began only ten days ago — on 15 September — and general sales only the day before yesterday — on 23 September. The cheapest tickets sold out within minutes; in the first 12 hours fans bought more than 20,000 tickets, and demand has not eased — organizers are putting additional grandstands on sale. Today the organizers said that more than 48,500 tickets have already been sold for over €25 million, with most buyers located outside Spain. It was also announced today that the race’s title sponsor will be Tag Heuer — the official timekeeper of Formula 1.
