Isaac Hadjar: For the first time, I'm confident about tomorrow.
Isaac Hadjar is pleased to know for sure that next year he will continue to compete in Formula 1, although it is still unknown which team — Red Bull or Racing Bulls…
Isaac Hadjar: “For me this is a completely new situation. In the junior categories I was used to one‑year contracts; throughout my career I have always fought until the last race in every series I competed in, and now for the first time I feel confident about the future.
This is a new feeling, it takes some of the pressure off, but I like to perform under pressure — that’s when I deliver my best results. We’ll see how I cope in the final races, but I will fight to the end this year as well.
In Singapore we face a tough race in difficult conditions. It’s hot and very humid here, but I spent a week in Japan, which was humid too. This year I have always felt comfortable in the car, so we’ll see. I’m curious myself how hard it really is. This track suits our car. We are unlikely to be able to fight for a podium, but we expect to make it into the final part of qualifying.”
