Lewis Hamilton was given a Lego portrait of Rosco.
At the end of September, Lewis Hamilton suffered the loss of his beloved dog, the bulldog Rosco. The seven-time world champion received tens of thousands of messages of support from around the world, and today he posted a photo of a portrait of Rosco made from Lego bricks.
It turned out that the gift was made by two of Lewis’s fans, Karen and Ilona, and the Ferrari driver thanked them via social media.
“This Lego portrait of Rosco truly moved me,” Lewis Hamilton wrote. “It has incredible detail, and I can’t imagine how much time went into making it. Thank you, Karen and Ilona, for making it and sending it to me.
I also want to thank all of you for the love I have received since Rosco’s passing. I am still in a lot of pain, and that pain will stay with me forever, but your support is helping me get through it. I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to you.
Many of you have also lost pets, so I know that wherever Rosco is, he has many friends. He is surrounded by love and positivity, just as he was in life.”
