Las Vegas Grand Prix: Track changes and DRS zones
On the eve of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the FIA outlined changes to the circuit and confirmed the locations of two DRS zones. Compared with last year, there are few changes. Marshal posts 12.9 and 16 have been moved to a different location. The manhole under the bridge between Turns 16 and 17 has been reprofiled. Las Vegas still has two DRS zones. The detection point for the first zone is located 10 meters after Turn 2, and the DRS activation point is 20 meters after Turn 4. The detection point for the second DRS zone is located 710 meters after Turn 12, and the activation point is 870 meters before Turn 14.
