Sergio Perez: A more challenging weekend awaits us in Suzuka.

In the previous stage in China, Cadillac drivers Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas both finished the race for the first time. In the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix, the team hopes to take the next step forward, although they acknowledge that there will be more challenges, as the car needs to be set up for high downforce in Suzuka.

Graham Loudon: "Between the stages in Australia and China, we made significant strides forward in a very short period of time. We are progressing quickly and learning more about ourselves as a team in every session on track.

Our results are improving with each outing from the pits thanks to constant teamwork, the refinement of operational processes, and of course, our growing understanding of the car. All of this contributes to increased reliability and, consequently, our ability to compete with other teams.

I am convinced that we have managed to assemble a special group of people, and I look forward to continuing our progress in Suzuka, building on the solid foundation laid at the beginning of the season."

Sergio Perez: "The team has worked hard in the first two stages of the season, and we have already made obvious progress. The weekend with the sprint in China was another new challenge, but we handled it well and became stronger.

I am excited to continue working in Suzuka, a track for real racers, where I have had podiums. Since this track requires a car setup for high downforce, we are in for a more challenging weekend. The team will continue to stick to its approach, focusing on conducting sessions smoothly, progressing with each outing on track, and finishing the race."

Valtteri Bottas: "I enjoy coming to Japan for many reasons, and I have great memories of winning in 2019. We at Cadillac have not reached that level yet, but we performed well at the Chinese Grand Prix. Finishing with two cars in just the second race was very important for us. We learned a lot in Shanghai and are in a stronger position heading into Suzuka."
