Dino Chiesa: Lindblad resembles a young Lewis

      Legendary karting coach Dino Chiesa, who once worked with Hamilton, Rosberg, and Albon, highly values the potential of Racing Bulls debutant Arvid Lindblad – and compares him to Lewis, but believes that his attitude towards the job can both help and hinder a career in Formula 1.

      Arvid is very aggressive on the track. He doesn’t wait or calculate everything down to the last detail. When he finds himself behind an opponent, he immediately attacks. At the same time, he acts smartly, rarely getting into serious crashes or incidents.

      We worked well together for three years, but when he finished second behind his teammate, he immediately said that I gave his teammate the better car. He was only 14 then, but if he continues to think like that now, his career could go up in smoke. You need to accept what you have and strive for better.

      He will be useful for Red Bull, but sometimes you need to be able to count to ten before saying something, and Arvid is too emotional and might say something wrong in the heat of the moment.

      In Formula 1, you need to be polite. When you become Verstappen or Hamilton, you can say whatever you want, but before that, you need to be conflict-free, and Arvid is not one of those."
