Ferrari and Pirelli continue tire testing
On Friday, Pirelli tests continued with Ferrari at the Fiorano track, where the Italian team is testing prototypes of intermediate and wet tires for the 2027 season. On the first day of the tests, Lewis Hamilton was in action. Pirelli's press service reported that on Thursday, the seven-time world champion completed 142 laps, testing various options for wet and intermediate tires on an artificially wet track. Lewis's best lap was 1:01.031 seconds. It was expected that the two days of Pirelli tests would be shared between Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, but on Friday morning, Ferrari's press service announced that the seven-time world champion was back behind the wheel and continuing the tests.
