The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is set to be moved to December.

The Formula 1 management had to urgently make changes to the season calendar and cancel the April races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia due to the conflict in the Middle East. However, the race in Jeddah may still take place this year. Former Formula 1 driver Robert Doornbos, who is part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix promoters team, stated on the Dutch TV channel Ziggo Sport that the organizers of the Saudi Arabian race are negotiating to move the canceled race from April to December 6, and the Abu Dhabi race to December 13. If these plans are realized, the season will conclude with a series of four consecutive Grands Prix. Robert Doornbos: "I've heard something. We know the company Aramco as a sponsor of Formula 1, but they are actively promoting the Jeddah race because it is their jewel. Jeddah may still return to the calendar this year. They are currently discussing moving the Abu Dhabi race back by a week and holding Jeddah on the freed-up date. If this plan is implemented, we will see four consecutive races at the end of the season – in Las Vegas, Qatar, Jeddah, and Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi's contract states that the race must conclude the season. And it has been that way for the last 15 years. Given all the circumstances, it will likely take some time before all changes to the calendar are approved."
