Jenson Button looks great as a commentator on Sky Sports F1, stepping in for Martin Brundle when he misses a Grand Prix, but he is not ready to take on a more significant role. Martin Brundle: “This is news for the sake of news. Nonsense for clicks. I’ve been coming to 16 Grands Prix during the season for quite some time and will continue to do so. In fact, considering the cancellations, I will attend 15 of the remaining 19 races this season if they all go ahead.”
Jenson Button: “I can’t replace Martin. He is the best expert in commentary and analysis. As much as I enjoy stepping in when Martin takes a break, I wouldn’t want to do it more often – I already have plenty on my plate!”
