Report mentions 'F1 driver' in investigation involving escorts in Milan.
"A significant amount of evidence against the suspects"
An unnamed Formula 1 driver has been mentioned in a criminal probe regarding an alleged escort network based in Milan. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, authorities intercepted conversations in which one suspect stated: "I have a friend, a Formula 1 driver, who’s arriving in Milan tonight and is looking for a girl." This conversation, referenced in court documents, supposedly occurred on February 18, 2026, aligning with pre-season testing in Bahrain.
Italian publication Il Fatto Quotidiano provided more details from the same dialogue, where the suspect inquired: "Can you find him a suitable one?" and received the response: "I’ll send him a Brazilian." The investigation focuses on an events company accused of arranging nightlife packages for affluent clients, including athletes and Serie A football players.
"The investigation has led to the collection of a substantial amount of evidence against the suspects," stated the Milan prosecutor’s office, claiming they acted "in coordination with other members of the organization, including escorts and public relations staff." Reports indicate that "at least fifty" high-profile clients are involved, although their names have been redacted in official documents. Four individuals have been apprehended on charges including facilitating prostitution and money laundering, with the investigation being led by Milan prosecutors and financial police.
