Rumors: Yuki Tsunoda is a candidate to replace Colapinto.

      Yuki Tsunoda is without a main driver contract for 2026, but the Japanese racer has chances to return to Formula 1 next season. The Italian press reports that two teams, Alpine and Haas, are considering options to end their collaboration with one of the current drivers. This concerns Franco Colapinto and Esteban Ocon, whose results do not satisfy the team management. Yuki Tsunoda is already mentioned among the main candidates to replace Colapinto at Alpine. As for Haas, there is currently no information on who could replace Ocon if such a decision is made. However, Tsunoda not only has significant experience in Formula 1, which would be beneficial for Haas, but also good relations with team principal Ayo Komatsu. On the other hand, the fact that Yuki has always been a Honda driver could work against the Haas option, as the American team is currently closely collaborating with Toyota.
