Helmut Marko: “Montoya was incredibly talented! I remember the first thing he told me when he arrived from Colombia and visited me in Graz – he liked all four burger joints in the city that he managed to visit. I wasn’t satisfied with such a diet. We had a light salad for dinner, and then I sent him to his hotel on foot – it was about an hour's walk.
I believe that Montoya was not able to fully realize his potential in racing. He was very good, and I regret that not everything worked out for him.”
