The start of the Miami Grand Prix has been moved three hours earlier.

As expected, the FIA, FOM, and promoters of the Miami Grand Prix have decided to move the start time of the Formula 1 race on Sunday. The drivers will head out for the warm-up lap three hours earlier than originally scheduled – at 1:00 PM local time (8:00 PM Moscow time).

"After a meeting involving the FIA, FOM, and the promoters of the Miami Grand Prix, it has been decided to move the start of the Miami Grand Prix to 1:00 PM local time due to the weather forecast, which predicts heavy rain in the afternoon, closer to the originally scheduled start time of the race," said the official FIA statement. "The decision was made to minimize the potential impact of the weather on the race and to provide the widest possible time frame for conducting the Grand Prix under the best conditions, ensuring the safety of drivers, fans, teams, and staff."

As a result of the decision to move the start of the Miami Grand Prix, the start of the Formula 2 race on Sunday has also been moved to an earlier time. The warm-up lap will start at 9:25 AM local time (4:25 PM Moscow time).
