Kolapinto: It's nice when everything works out.

At Alpine, the task was accomplished – they earned a point in the sprint and qualified for the final with two cars...

Franco Colapinto (8th): "I am very pleased with the result – in qualifying, I managed to repeat the eighth place I secured the day before at the start of the sprint.

Overall, the weekend is going well, I am proud of the team and our results. After the Japanese Grand Prix, we solved the problem of lacking speed, made some changes – and it worked.

It's nice when everything works out. I lost positions at the start of the sprint when Verstappen passed me, and Lewis was right behind him – I had nowhere to go. That was an unfortunate moment, but I hope for more in the race on Sunday."

Pierre Gasly (10th): "I can't say I'm unhappy with Saturday's results – I earned a point in the sprint and made it to the final qualifying round. It's clear that here we are the fifth fastest team, but the top four teams are far ahead, so I raced alone in the sprint and finished eighth, earning the last point.

Something is wrong with the car, particularly there are issues with the grip of the drive wheels, and we continue to search for the cause. Such problems are rare this season, but they hindered us in qualifying – and we need to work to ensure this doesn't happen again.

In the race, we hope to fight for points, but it all depends on the weather. We are ready for any outcome. If it's dry, I will likely race alone again. If it rains, we might have a chance, so we'll see. The goal is to earn as many points as possible."
