The Bahrain Grand Prix may be moved to October.

Formula 1 had to cancel two April races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia due to the military conflict in the Middle East. In official statements, these races are referred to as postponed rather than canceled, indicating a desire to hold the Grand Prix on different dates. We have already reported on the possible rescheduling of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix to December, and now there is information about the potential holding of the Bahrain Grand Prix in the fall of 2026. According to Racingnews365, Formula 1 is considering the option to add a race in the calendar between the Azerbaijan Grand Prix and the Singapore Grand Prix at the Sakhir circuit. In this case, the race in Bahrain would take place from October 2 to 4. The total promoter payments that Formula 1 receives from the races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia amount to about 100 million pounds sterling, so it is quite understandable that the championship management wants to find a way to hold these two races. Sources familiar with the situation indicate that a final decision will not be made until at least mid-August.
