Alonso was delivered a unique Pagani Zonda roadster.
It is difficult to surprise the audience living in Monaco or at least spending their free time there with rare and expensive cars, but perhaps exceptions do happen. This is exactly what occurred yesterday when Fernando Alonso received yet another supercar for his already impressive collection of sports cars. The two-time world champion received a truly unique vehicle, which exists in a single copy.
In front of the local audience at the harbor of Monaco, a symbolic cover was removed from the Pagani Zonda 760 Roadster Diamante Verde, after which Fernando took the wheel of this masterpiece of Italian automotive design and drove through the streets of the Mediterranean principality, attracting considerable attention to himself and his new car.
It is said that such a car is valued at 10 million euros. As Autosprint reports, it was built back in 2017 at the request of a certain collector, who later decided to sell it. It is almost entirely made of composite materials, and it features a 7.3-liter naturally aspirated Mercedes-AMG V12 engine, producing around 760 hp.
While Alonso's performance on the Formula 1 tracks has not been great, and that is putting it mildly, due to problems with his Aston Martin team, which finds itself in a rather difficult position, in his personal life, the famous racer is still doing well. Recently, he experienced the joy of fatherhood for the first time – his girlfriend, Spanish journalist Melissa Jimenez, gave birth to a son named Leonardo a couple of months ago. And now, in Fernando's personal garage, there is also this special car.
