Attention Land Rover fans: The Defender 110 is set for some updates.

The 2028 Land Rover Defender has been seen on public roads in Europe, featuring light camouflage on the front and rear. However, the most significant changes are happening inside, where second-row captain’s chairs are visible, albeit covered in cloth.

While second-row captain’s chairs have been offered in the longer three-row Defender 130, they haven't been available in the shorter five-passenger 110 model. Although the actual seats are hidden under fabric, it’s reasonable to assume they’re similar to those in the three-row 130.

It remains uncertain whether these second-row captain’s chairs will be offered as an option or as standard equipment, but it’s likely that a second-row bench seat will still be available to maintain the 110 model’s five-passenger capability in certain trims.

Other subtle updates to the Defender 110’s exterior will feature a modified rear bumper and spoiler, a refreshed front grille, and an adjusted front bumper.

The facelifted 2028 Land Rover Defender is anticipated to debut later this year, but the updated model likely won’t reach the U.S. until sometime next year.
