Alonso: Before the incident, everything was going very well.

      In the sprint qualifying, the Aston Martin drivers were eliminated early from the competition – Fernando Alonso crashed, and Lance Stroll did not make it out of the first session…

      Fernando Alonso (16th): “Unfortunately, in the third corner, I locked up the front tires and became a passenger in my car. Before the incident, everything was going quite well; it will be interesting to see what Saturday brings. Let's see what we can achieve in the sprint and the main qualifying.”

      Lance Stroll (18th): “We did everything to complete a fast lap after the red flag, but the tires were too cold, and I couldn't improve my time. Sometimes it happens. We will analyze all the data, see what we can improve, and hopefully achieve more tomorrow.”
