Hamilton: I feel the car better without the simulator.

Lewis Hamilton (5th): "Perhaps this is my best qualifying in a while. Great work with the engineers, optimal settings – the car was magnificent from the first lap, so we only made minor adjustments before qualifying.
The first and second sessions went well, but in the final, competitors from other teams were able to show slightly better results. I don’t know the reason, but I’m very happy to be in this fight.
Before this event, I didn’t prepare for it on the simulator, and as a result, I felt the car better than ever this season. I think this is the optimal decision for me. We worked hard, analyzed the data, and I realized that this suits me better. Firstly, I could just focus on practice and not get distracted. Secondly, it allowed me to achieve the necessary stability and balance.
I chose settings that we had never used before, and it changed the car for the better. I hope this bodes well for the rest of the weekend."
Charles Leclerc (6th): "This time I’m uncomfortable in the car. For some reason, I have serious problems with the brakes. We need to figure it out and find a solution by tomorrow, otherwise the weekend will feel very long for me. Because of the strange brake behavior, I have to constantly keep the car from going off. That’s the main issue. Otherwise, the car behaves normally.
Lewis is incredibly fast this weekend, and I need to work on the brakes. I hope we can turn the situation around."
