Liam Lawson: Compared to Friday, the car has improved.
In Monaco, Liam Lawson reached the qualifying final for the second time this season, where he showed the tenth fastest time. His Racing Bulls teammate Arvid Lindblad had a less successful session and will start fifteenth.
Liam Lawson (10th): "I am very happy with today's result - it's great to make it to the final. Compared to yesterday, the car improved when we faced more issues than expected, so we had to change a lot.
It's difficult to overtake on this track, so the goal is to start well. I really enjoy driving in Monaco, so I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel tomorrow."
Arvid Lindblad (15th): "Today's qualifying was quite challenging. I felt comfortable behind the wheel in the first session, and I was setting a good lap until it had to be interrupted due to red flags.
In the second session, the tires were not warmed up on my first attempt, which resulted in a lack of grip on the track. I knew I had to step up in the decisive attempt, but I couldn't get the tires into the optimal working range on the preparation lap. My team and I will figure out why that happened and draw conclusions.
It will be tough to gain positions tomorrow, but we have learned from previous races and will try to make the most of any opportunity."
