In India, they are analyzing the prospects of the return of the F1 race.

The Ministry of Sports of India has decided to create a special commission that will conduct a detailed analysis of the state of affairs in national motorsport in the context of efforts to bring Formula 1 racing back to the country.

The new commission will evaluate the prospects of this and similar projects from various perspectives – international prestige, economic and tourism development, as well as the potential for attracting investments. Additionally, its tasks include determining priority areas for the development of motorsport infrastructure, after which the commission is expected to present its recommendations to the Government of India within approximately three months.

As noted by the newspaper The Hindu, the decision to create such a commission followed a meeting that included representatives from Formula 1, the Adani Group corporation, which owns the Buddh International Circuit that hosted the Indian Grand Prix from 2011 to 2013, the FMSCI federation, which unites the country's auto clubs, and local drivers.
