Williams is going on a tour across the UK.

Williams is going on a tour across the UK – of course, not the entire team, but only its show car: the FW48 will be taken to several cities in the United Kingdom.

Next week, the car of this year will be seen by the public in Edinburgh, Manchester, and Cardiff – this is the first project of its kind in the history of the Grove team.

The FW48 will be showcased in these cities, and although only a small portion of fans will be able to attend the race in Silverstone, everyone will have the opportunity to take a photo next to this car, share the picture on social media, and get a chance to win a set of team merchandise signed by the drivers.

Additionally, on June 30, a Williams fan zone will open in central London – it has become a tradition for the team to do everything possible to attract fans' attention before the home British Grand Prix. Among those present will be James Vowles, the team principal, and Alex Albon, who will interact with the public.

James Vowles: “At Formula 1 races, there are less than one percent of fans. We are trying to bridge the gap between the public and Formula 1, so we will take our car to four famous British cities, allowing people to get to know our team and learn more about what we do.

In the UK, we have a large army of fans, and as we approach the 50th anniversary of Williams, these tours will allow us to celebrate our progress together with the people who help the team grow.”
