      Oliver Berman (14th): “It was a tough day, we lacked speed. We had a poor start, losing many positions, and then I got stuck in traffic.

      I was lucky with the VSC announcement, but throughout the race, the car was too slow. I did everything I could, but we were giving away too much to Audi, Racing Bulls, or Alpine. The result was unpleasantly surprising, but it was hard to expect more with such balance issues.”

      Esteban Ocon (16th): “The result turned out to be about what we expected – we know there’s something wrong with the car. The only positive was that we gave it our all this weekend. We replaced all the parts we could, but the problems remained. I had a decent start and almost made it into the top ten on the first lap, but then I fell back.

      We need to make this car work. The car lacks downforce, it’s sliding – you can hold on for a few laps in that mode, but then the competitors overtake me.”
