Hülkenberg fined, Lawson received a warning.

After the sprint finish in Silverstone, the stewards of the British Grand Prix reviewed two different incidents involving Nico Hülkenberg and Liam Lawson.

On the first lap, the Audi driver, defending against attacks from Esteban Ocon, went off the track at Turn 9, and after returning to the track, did not give the position back to Ocon. The stewards deemed that Hülkenberg gained an advantage by going off the track and penalized Nico with a five-second addition to his sprint result. As a result, Hülkenberg moved from 13th to 15th place in the final classification.

The stewards also examined the moment of Liam Lawson's battle with Isaac Hadjar, when on the straight before Turn 15, Liam moved towards Hadjar. After hearing from the drivers, reviewing camera footage, and analyzing telemetry data, the stewards concluded that Lawson did not significantly change his direction and left Hadjar enough space. Isaac agreed with this.

However, the stewards noted that Lawson's defensive maneuver was late and abrupt, so they issued the Racing Bulls driver a formal warning.
