      George Russell (2nd): "First of all, congratulations to Charles – he had a great race. I’m happy to race in Silverstone, this is my first podium at my home track, I’m very pleased with everything! The race didn’t go well for me, but in the end, I was lucky with the safety car. It would have been great for the fans if a restart had been announced, but my tires were completely cold, so I’m glad it ended this way and I finished second. A tough weekend, but overall I’m happy to be on the podium."

      Kimi Antonelli (16th, 15th after Carlos Sainz's penalty): "Unfortunately, everything turned out this way today. I didn’t manage to earn any points. When it seemed like I had a chance to score a point, the safety car came out, and I received a penalty, which is in line with the rules, but it seems unfair to me. The penalty is fair if you go off the track and gain time because of it, but I just couldn’t keep the car on the track due to a breakdown. It just wouldn’t turn. On the lap when the car broke down, I attacked the curb – not as aggressively as before, even less than before. I immediately felt something was broken, I just didn’t understand what was happening, and the team didn’t realize it right away either. At first, we thought it was the front wing, but it turned out it wasn’t. It’s a shame it ended this way. We had a real chance to win. But you know, this will be extra motivation for me to come back to the fight in even better shape and achieve more."

      Toto Wolff, team principal: "We need to improve our reliability. Both of our drivers have retired this year, Kimi twice, George once, and there’s still a long way to go in the season. We’ve lost a lot of points. We will only become champions if we take control of the situation. We are figuring out what happened in turn nine, where Kimi first reported the breakdown. This is our fault. The car shouldn’t break down. I don’t think he drove differently on that lap than on the previous laps. After that, his car refused to turn. George just needs to keep believing in himself, find and identify those small issues in the car that are currently preventing him from achieving more. There’s a 'war of upgrades' in the championship. All teams are preparing new developments and progressing quickly. Ferrari has prepared more upgrades than we have. Due to the high energy demands, the Silverstone track shouldn’t have suited them, they talked about a possible deficit of five to six tenths of a second, but for most of the race, they were running at the same pace as us. The competition this year will be intense."
