Newey hopes for improvements starting from the stage in Zandvoort.

At Aston Martin F1, they do not expect improvements until a rather large complex of technical innovations is ready, but that will take some time. In the meantime, the team's drivers have to accept that they will start from the last row in the British Grand Prix. As Fernando Alonso, who showed the 22nd time, admitted after qualifying, "the car behaved exactly the same as in all the recent weekends. These are our positions at the moment..." Since it can't get any worse, we can only hope that brighter days will come sooner or later. In any case, Adrian Newey, the head of the team from Silverstone, has no doubt about this. "After the stage in Melbourne, we decided that there was no point in making any minor changes to the chassis design, as with such a car there would be no real opportunity to fight for points," Newey stated on Sky Sports. "After that, we were able to relieve at least some of the pressure, regroup our forces, and prepare everything necessary to achieve improvements in the future. Now we continue to work on a full chassis update, with the first stage of modernization scheduled for the Hungarian Grand Prix, and the next, more extensive one, for the stage in Zandvoort, where we will present updates in conjunction with the refined Honda engine. We hope that this will at least allow us to reach a higher level where we can earn points. I’m not claiming that we will regularly finish in the top ten, but I hope that we will at least make it to the second part of qualifying, and then we will see how things go."
