The stewards of the Belgian Grand Prix are investigating a violation committed by the Ferrari team after the first free practice session. The Scuderia noted in the special FIA electronic system that it returned two sets of slicks from Charles Leclerc's car and two sets of slicks from Lewis Hamilton's car, but physically did not hand over these four sets to Pirelli before the start of the second free practice session. Thus, Ferrari violated paragraph B6.4.2 of the regulations. For such a violation, Ferrari faces penalties, including the possibility of losing grid positions.
