Lindblad: We need to try to gain on the Soft tires.

Both Racing Bulls drivers finished their practice sessions in Spa within the top ten, aided by a set of technical innovations prepared by the team for the Belgian weekend.

Alan Permain, team principal: "The first day on the track in Spa went quite well. Both cars received a noticeable set of technical updates, including an upgraded rear wing and engine cover. The cooling system on VCARB 03 has also been refined, and it is working as it should.

The car on Medium tires performed excellently, but the picture was somewhat worse on the soft tires. Accordingly, the task is to try to take measures in the evening to improve for tomorrow's qualifying on the Soft compound.

Today we gathered a large amount of information that needs to be analyzed to make the necessary improvements to the setup before the third practice."

Arvid Lindblad (9th): "Overall, it was a fairly normal first day of work at the Belgian track, and the team once again provided us with a car that has good baseline settings. This is encouraging, although there are several areas that need special attention.

First of all, we need to improve on the Soft tires, as I wasn't able to make the progress I wanted today. Additionally, there are still questions that need answers before Sunday, especially regarding long runs, as we could only complete a few laps in the first session and almost none in the second.

We have a fast car, and if we can put everything together, we should be fighting for a spot in the qualifying final and aiming for points on Sunday."

Liam Lawson (10th): "Not a bad Friday, both cars in the top ten. This year, the experience of driving on the Spa track is noticeably different from what we remember from previous seasons. Therefore, we are focusing all our attention on optimizing the car and finding the right approach to energy usage.

We'll work on all of this in the evening and hope to perform more confidently tomorrow. The car is working fine; now we just need to put in all the necessary effort to slightly improve the fine-tuning and fully unlock the potential of VCARB 03."
