Oliver Berman: It's time to go on vacation.

Haas F1 driver Oliver Berman believes that the summer break will allow him and the team to reset after a prolonged series of setbacks…

Oliver Berman: “At the beginning of the season, I was satisfied with how everything was going. The car was competitive, we were even battling with Red Bull. In the first races, we had no issues with reliability or software.

Then the situation deteriorated sharply. In Canada, we introduced new components to the car – and they didn’t work, they didn’t bring the performance gain we were hoping for. Since then, we haven’t scored any points.

Several months have passed since then. From a driving perspective, I’ve been giving it my all, but when the best we can achieve is 14th or 15th place, it starts to get a bit frustrating.

To find the motivation to keep fighting when the results are lacking, a break is needed. We’ll rest a bit, reset, and then refocus on work, as we’ll have some new components after the summer break.”
