Last summer, when Ram revealed that the return of the Hemi was just the start, we inquired with company executives about the possibility of factory-supported power enhancements for the now-famous V8. The response, shared with a smile and perhaps a sly wink, was essentially “stay tuned.” Our patience has finally paid off.

Beginning this fall, you can order a 2027 Ram Rumble Bee with an added boost of pure horsepower. Regardless of whether you choose the 5.7, 6.4, or the supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat, there’s a new Mopar Direct Connection supercharger package that offers even more power (over 900, if you begin with the Hellcat)—all while maintaining your factory warranty.

Mopar aims for more than 600 horsepower with the 5.7-liter Rumble Bee, over 700 horsepower with the 6.4-liter Rumble Bee 392 (which includes the Track Pack), and over 900 horsepower on the Hellcat-powered Rumble Bee SRT.

If installed by a Mopar-certified technician, these modifications do not affect the factory five-year / 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, as confirmed by the announcement.

Additionally, if you want to give your new short-wheelbase sport truck a little more character, Mopar has suspension and exhaust upgrades in the works. A new Ridetech kit not only lowers the Rumble Bee but also provides 24-way adjustable damping, and a new Magnaflow cat-back kit will enhance the exhaust sound.

Mopar indicates that the suspension kit will retail for $4,590, with the Magnaflow exhaust priced at $1,599 for the 5.7-liter Rumble Bee or $2,299 for the 392. The SRT model will cost $2,399. There’s an old saying: You have to pay to play.

Packages for the 5.7-liter Hemi are expected to start becoming available late this year; however, 392 and SRT owners will have to wait until early 2027.
