The historical technique has once again let Zak Brown down.

      In Monterey, California, the annual car festival continues, and at the Laguna Seca track, races of historic cars are ongoing, featuring Zak Brown. We previously reported on how the McLaren Racing CEO, who regularly reminisces about his racing youth and still competes in such events, was faring last week. Unfortunately, the streak of bad luck continues – perhaps he is demanding too much from the machinery built by Bruce McLaren's company over half a century ago, and it simply cannot withstand it. However, here are Zak Brown's words: "The first race of the weekend in the McLaren M8D could have gone incredibly well, as I was leading by 7 seconds and recorded the fastest lap, but it all ended with a driveshaft failure, just three laps before the finish. What a shame!

      But in the race driving the Jaguar XJR-8, I finished seventh and posted the 9th fastest time in qualifying in the Chevrolet Camaro in the IROC series. Let's see what tomorrow brings."
