Charles Leclerc: We shouldn't have any problems this year.
On the eve of the Dutch Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc acknowledged that the Zandvoort track has traditionally not suited Ferrari, but this year, after switching to new generation cars, Scuderia may have a chance for a high result.
Charles Leclerc: "Historically, Zandvoort has never really been a particularly successful track for our team. But now the cars have changed so much that the balance of power could be different. Teams that previously found it easier on tracks of this type may not necessarily have an advantage anymore.
Moreover, it is a very technical track, and this season our car usually performs better on such tracks. So I am optimistic, although we still have to check everything in reality.
We understand well why we had problems with the previous generation cars at Zandvoort. I think these issues won't repeat this year. I hope I'm right.
Additionally, the weekend is in a sprint format, the forecast promises rain, and after three weeks of vacation, everything could turn out to be quite challenging! But I am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel."
