Oliver Berman is the leader in penalty points.

In the FIA, a penalty points system is used for the super license, but in 2026, the penalty policy was significantly softened – now points are only given for serious violations. Points expire 12 months from the date they are accrued. If a driver accumulates more than 12 points in a year, they are disqualified from the next race. Thus, in 2024, Kevin Magnussen missed the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

On August 31, points from last year's race in the Netherlands will expire, so before Monza, only 12 drivers will have points remaining. The leader in points is Oliver Berman from Haas F1.
