Isack Hadjar has stated that his injured wrist is recovering rapidly as Red Bull gets ready to evaluate if he can make his return at Monza this weekend. The French driver missed the Dutch GP after injuring himself while boxing, with Liam Lawson filling in at Red Bull and Yuki Tsunoda returning to Racing Bulls. Hadjar reports that his recovery is going well. "My wrist is not swollen," he mentioned. "That’s very encouraging. It’s a positive indicator. The wrist heals quickly. Each day I can move it a bit more." "I’m optimistic about Monza." According to reports, Hadjar is expected to participate in the opening practice on Friday before a final decision is reached. Lawson and Tsunoda are on standby in case Hadjar is unable to continue. Hadjar confessed that missing Zandvoort was particularly tough. "This is my very first injury ever, in my life, career, you name it," he acknowledged. "It feels strange to be sidelined, and I’m not pleased about it, neither for myself nor for the team. Naturally, I want to be there for every lap."
