Ferrari discussed the strategy in Zandvoort with the drivers.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur revealed that on Monday after the Dutch Grand Prix, he had a one-hour phone conversation with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc to explain the strategic decisions that had caused dissatisfaction among the drivers…

Frederic Vasseur: “It is always difficult to manage champions on the track, as they perform at the peak of their abilities and are always aiming for victory. The situation becomes really complicated when you cannot clearly discuss everything with your drivers, but we do not have that problem.

On Monday after the race, we had a one-hour phone conversation with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, during which we clearly explained the strategy, the reasons for the decisions made, and by the end of the conversation, we closed the matter, focusing on Monza.

I prefer this approach, where we can discuss everything, rather than each keeping everything to themselves, which can ultimately lead to much worse consequences.”
