Racing suits of Schumacher are up for auction.
Before the Italian Grand Prix, the auction house Bonhams put up for auction a number of memorabilia related to Michael Schumacher's racing career.
The list of lots includes the racing suits of the seven-time world champion, which he wore at the 1997 Australian Grand Prix, the 1998 San Marino Grand Prix, and the 2000 German Grand Prix, as well as other memorabilia.
The auction also features Rubens Barrichello's suit, in which he won the 2002 United States Grand Prix while being Schumacher's teammate at Ferrari.
Additionally, items from current Formula 1 drivers will be presented at the auction. These include Kimi Antonelli's racing suits from the 2025 Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as well as Lando Norris's suit from last year's Italian Grand Prix.
Sabine Kem, managing director of the Keep Fighting Foundation, confirmed that the Schumacher family supports the auction: "Monza is the perfect place to honor Michael's legacy. At this track, he created many wonderful memories while racing for the main Italian team – Ferrari. It is especially symbolic that all this is happening in the year of the 30th anniversary of Michael's first victory in Monza.
We at the Keep Fighting Foundation, together with Michael's family, are very proud that his legacy is being celebrated for the second year in a row at the Schumacher Lounge. Here, he is treated with great respect, but the atmosphere remains bright and joyful. This wonderful venue is right on the track, where Ferrari will present a special livery for the cars in honor of Michael."
