
Roman Grosjean's wife was seriously injured
Marion Grosjean, the wife of Roman Grosjean, was seriously injured in a traffic accident, which she became a victim of while cycling.
On social media, she shared several frightening pictures taken in a hospital room and wrote that she doesn't remember anything about the accident that happened last week, but emphasizes that a bicycle helmet saved her life.
"Pneumothorax, broken ribs, head injury–in short, a complete disaster! Marion said, thanking everyone for the messages of support. – I hope to return home from the hospital as soon as possible, but in the meantime, my husband is taking care of our three children.
I have to admit that this whole story is completely crazy, and I still don't understand what happened to me.… I think in this form I could star in a good social advertisement on road safety issues! To be honest, the helmet saved my life..."
Marion is a journalist by profession, and in the last five years she has become either the author or co–author of several books, including, together with Roman, in 2021 she released his biography "Death in the Face."
Grosjean joined IndyCar after retiring from Formula 1, and this season he is serving as a reserve driver for Prema Racing, a new team that has just debuted in the American series.
