Sebastian Vettel cheers for Lewis Hamilton
Sebastian Vettel spent six seasons at Ferrari, but he never managed to win the title. In 2025, Lewis Hamilton is making his first attempt to become a champion as part of the Maranello team, and Sebastian sincerely hopes that the British driver will succeed.
Sebastian Vettel: "Let's see what happens with Lewis. I crossed my fingers for him. We have been fighting on the tracks for many years, and now we get along very well. At the moment, he talks more about important social issues than the rest of the riders.
On the track, Lewis doesn't have to prove anything – his performance stats speak for themselves. But it's still great that he continues to get off to a good start and make a positive impact. It's only natural that I crossed my fingers for him to win the title.
But Ferrari also has Charles Leclair. I was in the same team with him, so I think that Ferrari has a strong pair of drivers. In the end, a lot of things have to come together for the title fight to continue until the last stages."
