The FIA president is ready to abandon budget constraints
The FIA president does not like that for the first time in the history of Formula 1, teams feel profitable and independent. Given the budget constraints that appeared in 2021, and now it's about $140 million, they don't need rent drivers to survive.
During the weekend in Miami, FIA President Mohammed Bin Sulayem proposed waiving the budget limit because "it causes headaches."
"I look at the budget limit, and it's just giving the FIA a headache. So what's the point? I don't see the point. I really don't see it," the Associated Press quoted the FIA president as saying.
