Qualification
Oscar Piastri claimed his third pole of the season after qualifying at Imola. For the first time since San Marino’05, a McLaren driver started first in Imola. Then it was Kimi Raikkonen.
Verstappen lost 0.034 seconds from pole position and started second for the first time this year (before that there were three poles, 3rd, 4th and 7th places).
Third place is George Russell's best starting position at Imola, and he started third three times this year.
Lando Norris qualified fourth, starting outside the top three for the third time in the last four Grands Prix.
Fernando Alonso's fifth place is his best result at Imola since 2006. For the first time this year, both Aston Martin cars qualified for the finals.
For the first time in history, both Ferrari drivers started in Imola outside the top ten.

Race
By winning the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Max Verstappen scored his second victory of the season, his fourth in a row at Imola and the 65th of his career. Verstappen reached the podium for the 116th time as part of Red Bull Racing in the 400th Grand Prix in the team's history. Michael Schumacher had the same number of podiums with Ferrari.
Max Verstappen's best lap of the race was the 100th best lap in the history of Red Bull Racing.
Lando Norris finished second, reaching the podium at Imola for the fourth time in a row.
Oscar Piastri finished third, retaining the lead in the championship. After Imola, he is ahead of Norris by 13 points and Verstappen by 22 points.
Lewis Hamilton finished fourth, achieving his best result of the season.
Alex Albon finished fifth for the third time this season. This is Williams' best result at Imola since Juan Pablo Montoya's third place in 2004. Carlos Sainz finished the race in eighth, and the Williams drivers scored points with two cars for the third Grand Prix in a row. This is the 500th Grand Prix in which the Williams team has scored points.
By finishing ninth, Isaac Hajjar earned points for Racing Bulls on the team's home track. The Faenza team has been gaining points in Imola every year since its return to the calendar in 2020. This is Hajjar's third points finish in the last five Grands Prix.
Finishing tenth, Yuki Tsunoda scored points for the 30th time in his career.
Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso finished 11th for the third time this season without scoring a single point in the past seven Grands Prix.
