Russell: I haven't achieved a comfortable driving experience yet.

George Russell finished Friday's training sessions in Monaco on the uncharacteristic 12th line of the protocol, but was not too upset, believing that he would still have the opportunity to improve.

George Russell (12th): "Qualifying in Monaco, as always, was very stressful, because the size of this track is not large enough to accommodate 20 Formula 1 cars. Even if the team strategists work perfectly, the intervals between the machines do not exceed 2.5 seconds.

Yuki Tsunoda calls it "paradise traffic" – that's exactly what happened today. But it's always interesting to drive on this track, and although we weren't that fast, the main day of the weekend is usually Saturday. However, this year there will be two mandatory pit stops during the race, and it will be interesting!

Although we saw that some teams had already tried out the hard tires, which surprised us a bit because we preferred to follow a different plan.

To be honest, I have not yet achieved a comfortable enough driving experience, and if we talk about the results, this Friday we probably had one of our slowest workouts. However, a year ago we didn't have the best training in Monaco either, but the next day we reached the top five in qualifying.

That's why we have a lot to fight for, and I'm very interested to see how tomorrow turns out, and I'm looking forward to qualifying. And even if we don't manage to get to the top five tomorrow, we'll still have a chance on Sunday, especially since we have a pretty fast car this year. In general, we continue to hope."

Kimi Antonelli (9th): "Driving a Formula 1 car on this track is a lot of fun! At the same time, it is not easy to find the right balance and maximize the use of tire capabilities.

We have experimented a lot, tried many different approaches, first of all, we are talking about warming up the rubber of the softest composition, because it is difficult to achieve the desired level of grip on the first lap. But overall, I've figured out a lot during the day, and I'm already looking forward to tomorrow.

We know that Ferrari is usually very confident in Monaco, and McLaren have been strong since the beginning of the season. At the same time, you never know how much fuel is in the tanks of other cars, what engine power mode is on, so we prefer to focus on our own work.

I'm trying to improve with each session to prepare as much as possible for Saturday."
