Zhou drove 159 laps on rain tire tests

      The first day of another Pirelli test series dedicated to the development of tires for 2026 has ended at the Fiorano circuit. The track, the car and the racer were provided by Ferrari – Guanyu Zhou village, which was modified to take into account the dimension of the new SF-25 tires.

      The Chinese driver completed 159 laps with a best time of 0:59.820, which he showed on slicks when preparing for tests, and his best lap on intermediate tires was significantly slower – 1:07.400.

      However, we didn't work on the speed today – Pirelli engineers compared several options for intermediate and rain tires on an artificially moistened track, collecting information for further analysis.

      The tests will continue tomorrow, with Charles Leclair driving the SF-25.
