Ferrari has completed the upgrades to the 2025 car.
Ferrari brought several technical updates to Belgium, including an upgraded rear suspension. Team leader Frederic Vasseur explained that this is the latest major update to the SF-25 car, and if more updates are introduced before the end of the season, they will be minor.
Frederic Vasseur: "All teams are in the same situation. The closer we get to the end of the season, the more attention is paid to next year. We will still have a few minimal updates related to track specifics, weather, or other factors, but there will be no significant new developments."
The Scuderia chief is confident that the updates introduced at Spa have potential, but the team was unable to fully realize it due to the sprint-format weekend: "I think we need to finalize fine-tuning. We knew it would be challenging to work on the updates during a sprint weekend, but we didn't want to delay their implementation until Budapest.
Yes, on Friday we couldn't dedicate enough time to long run evaluations and developing benchmarks, but I still believe bringing the updates was the right decision, as it prepared us for the Hungaroring race.
We'll see what shape we're in. At Spa, we didn't perform well in the slow corners, so we need to improve in that area. But I am confident that all the data collected at Spa will help us in the next weekend."
