Okon: Unfortunately, I was a little mistaken.

      Qualifying at Zandvoort went badly for Haas F1 — both drivers were eliminated in the first session, finishing at the bottom of the timesheets...

      Esteban Ocon (18th): "A difficult session. The car had the pace to get into the second session, but unfortunately I made a small mistake in Turn 11 and lost time.

      We need to think about why that happened and whether we can do better tomorrow. Usually in the race we are quicker than in qualifying, so we'll see."

      Oliver Bearman (19th): "The first run went well, I felt comfortable and was optimistic, but after switching to new tyres everyone else improved and I didn't.

      The car's behaviour changed; we need to find out whether it's the tyres or the small changes we made between sessions. I'm not holding out much hope, but we'll see what we can do in the race — on Friday we had a decent long-run pace."
