Lance Stroll has been cleared to participate in the race.
Lance Stroll crashed his car in the first part of qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix, failing to set a lap time. Since Stroll technically did not fall within 107% of the fastest time in the first session, Aston Martin had to ask the stewards for permission for Lance to take part in the race. The stewards allowed Lance Stroll to start the race in Zandvoort from 20th place, taking into account his practice results.
